As their parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents before them have done, the Dedman family would like to welcome you. Built in 1845 as a college for young ladies, Beaumont Inn opened in 1919. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places and honored with numerous national hospitality and food awards over the past ninety years, the Dedman family is commited to providing their guests with an experience steeped in Kentucky traditions. For nearly a century, memorabilia, antiques, and memories have been gathered at The Beaumont Inn. The spacious, park-like grounds include four buildings in which guestrooms are located. Each building is an integral part of the history of the Inn, and each expresses a distinct period of the heritage of the family.
Guestrooms are tastefully appointed, many with antiques from the original furnishings. All rooms have private baths, TV, telephone and comfortable seating. The guestrooms emphasize guest comfort and provide amenities which contribute to a pleasant atmosphere.
